What is quaketrigger.com?

For centuries people have been looking for ways how could it possible to predict next big earthquake.  We know what areas in the world next major earthquake might happen, but we don't know when. This is the reason why quaketrigger.com was created.

Our sources

We believe that it is possible to predict earthquakes while analyzing signals coming from space, sun and earth atmosphere. If the signals coming from space are powerful enough, earthquake might happen. QuakeTrigger.com is trying to analyze those signals coming from different sources - Nasa, Kyoto Unoversity,  Russian Arctic and Antarctic Magnetometer (RAM)network, Swedish Institute of Space Physics, NrCan.  Our website will analyze data retrieved from these sources and global major earthquake risk at the moment will be calculated. 

How to read the data

We display several graphs retrieved from our sources. At the moment the following graphs are available:

• AE(11)
• Magnetic Summary plots - Last 24 hours
• Magneting Pulsations
• Magnetograms
• Kakioka provisional geomagnetic data
• Artic Magnetometers

We will analyze all graphs and based on the results global major earthquake risk will be calculated. This is a major earthquake that might happen in next 24 hours.

When global major earthquake risk is over 80% or more, you should pack your emergency goods and stay on alert.

Depending on an area, there is a very high chance that an earthquake with the following magnitude might happen:

• USA (California) - Magnitude 5 or more
• South Europe - Magnitude 5 or more
• South America - Magnitude 7 or more
• East Asia - Magnitude 7 or more
• South East Asia - Magnitude 7 or more
• Japan - Mangitude 8 or more
